Who is the first spiritual church of prayer and what are we about?
We are a 501c3, which means we are serious. Our goal is for you to experience how teachings about Spiritualism and Spirituality come together for a better life experience. The purpose of the First Spiritual Church of Prayer is to promote and disseminate the teachings of Spiritualism and Spirituality in general. Such teachings are intended to advance and promote education, religion, harmony, etc. for a better life experience. These teachings may be about the continuity of life, the philosophy, science, and religion of Spiritualism, the equality of religions, the Brotherhood of Humankind, personal responsibility, and the Principles of Nature.
What does this mean? While we are predominantly an organization about Spiritualism, we do not limit ourselves to strictly teaching Spiritualism. We propose a path that is more inclined toward Spirituality. This allows us to draw from many philosophical, religious, and scientific teachings and sources. We feel this approach is more rounded without promoting any one specific belief system but encouraging all to embrace their own beliefs. After all, any who insist you hold a belief according to their vision is doing you a disservice.
Why is being a 501c3 important to us?
We are a federally recognized non-profit and all donations are required to be used for the growth of our/ your church and cannot be used to profit any one person.

Phillip Falcone has been serving the First Spiritual Church of Prayer since 2016 in the capacity of teacher. In 2020, Spiritual leadership was passed down to him from Rev. Nellie Vardaman. Phillip is an accomplished speaker, teacher, clairvoyant, Spiritual Mentor, and recently has become our Trance Medium, allowing us to experience Spirit teachings as the framers of Spiritualism were taught.
Phillip Falcone, has been involved with a Spiritualist organization and its member charters for over 20 yrs. During that time, he has taught classes in Mediumship, Clairvoyance, Energy Healing, and general classes about personal and spiritual development.
Phillip has earned an Assoc. from Western University in Nonprofit Management, a BAS from Phoenix University in the Science of Psychology, and a certificate from Indiana South Bend University in Workplace Communication. He has also trained as life coach from Coach Training Alliance for Life Coaching and Universal Class for Self-Esteem Building. He is also a Medium and a Healing Medium. He is also a self-published author.
